Bio:
Alex is an East London born, qualified Biokineticist with a special interest in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation of a wide range of injuries, as well as Chronic Conditions in children and the elderly. She has a BSc Psychology and Human Kinetics and Ergonomics, BA (Hons) Human Movement Sciences: Biokinetics and Post-Graduate Certificate in Education: Foundation Phase Teaching.
Alex is also a registered NeuroNet Learning Therapist. The human body interests her immensely and has been the key driving factor to her developing the path she has chosen.
Alex aspires to bring the best out in people, whether it be through Biokinetics treatment, or in her dealings with colleagues and friends. She has taken her experience from working in a multi-disciplinary medical practice in Johannesburg, as well as in gyms, schools and rehabilitation centres, to bring her to Cape Town and develop her career with FitCorp.
As an ex-provincial rower and keen runner, Alex leads a healthy lifestyle and enjoys keeping fitness fun. She enjoys adventure and challenge, whether it be sport or work related.
Alex is passionate about people and their well-being and strives to improve the quality of life of those who cross her path. Her empathetic nature and understanding of people is her strength. Alex values each person she comes across, how she can impact their day positively and the lessons they teach her in life.
